JAKARTA - Aktor Bucek Depp akan berperan sebagai ayah Glenn Fredly dalam film terbaru berjudul Glenn Fredly The Movie. Bucek Depp mengatakan Glenn Fredly dan keluarga berasal dari Ambon sehingga ada beberapa scene yang membutuhkan dia mengucapkan dialog-dialog bahasa Ambon dalam film ini.

Therefore, he was assisted by a special coach for his role in this film. "There is also a coach dialogue because we have changed some dialogue into regional languages," Bucek said as quoted by ANTARA, Thursday, September 21.

According to him, the role of Hengky Latuihamallo or Glenn Fredly's father was quite challenging because in his background he did not come from the Ambon tribe. Therefore, Bucek Depp felt helped by the Ambon language dialogue training and thorough research conducted by the team regarding Glenn Fredly and his family. He was also happy because he was chosen to play one of the important figures from the late Glenn Fredly, although it could not be denied that his role made him feel challenged. However, as an actor, he was happy because he got a different role from other roles in this film.. "As an actor, the challenges are extraordinary and we play the character, we are happy because we study again," said the man who was born on September 9, 1973.

Selain bantuan dari tim produksi, Bucek juga mendapatkan dukungan dari keluarga Glenn Fredly sehingga dia merasa dapat melakukannya dengan baik saat proses syuting nanti. Proses syuting film “Glenn Fredly The Movie” akan berlangsung mulai 30 September 2023 atau tepat di hari kelahiran Glenn Fredly.“Ini tidak akan bisa terjadi kalau tidak ada dukungan dari keluarga Glenn Fredly sendiri,” kata Bucek.
