BTOB Considers Continue Contract With Cube Entertainment

JAKARTA - BTOB's exclusive contract is rumored to end in September 2023. Now, their status with Cube Entertainment is being considered.

Today, Monday, August 28, one of the outlet media reported the exclusive contract. Cube Entertainment responded to the updated contract news in 2018.

"It is true that the BTOB exclusive contract renewal period has arrived. Both agencies and all members are discussing carefully in a positive direction," Cube Entertainment said on the same day.

Cube Entertainment debuted BTOB in 2012. Then, in 2018, BTOB renewed its exclusive contract for the first time.

BTOB is still carrying out their activities until the pandemic hit in 2020. One by one members start serving in the military.

At the end of 2020, the agency announced Ilhoon would leave the BTOB group. He was being investigated using marijuana and admitted his actions. The court suspended a 2-year prison sentence with a probationary period of 3 years.

Ilhoon also underwent drug rehabilitation for 40 hours and was required to pay a fine according to the provisions.

Meanwhile, other BTOB members have completed their military obligations. BTOB also marked their return by releasing their 12th mini album titled WIND AND WISH in May this year.

On the other hand, BTOB members have also successfully made their solo careers. Sungjae last starred in the drama Golden lost, Eunkwang became a member for several variety events, and Minhyuk became one of the judges in Star Planet.
