Tyas Mirasih Had Wanted To Marry Tengku Tezi At The Hospital

JAKARTA - Tyas Mirasih and Tengku Tezi officially married on Sunday, August 20. Both of them underwent the consent procession with a dowry of 50 grams of precious metal gold and a set of prayer tools in Cinere, Depok.

The 36-year-old actress is happy to be able to start a new household with Tengku Tezi, but there is sadness. Tyas was sad that her marriage could not be attended by her mother who had died on May 24.

"It's a mixture of feelings, because on the one hand I'm sad because my mom doesn't exist anymore," said Tyas Mirasih in front of the media crew after the consent.

"But I believe you look from above, and are happy too," he continued.

Tyas Mirasih also revealed that he had planned to marry Tengku at the hospital where his late mother was being treated before she died.

"To be honest, our plan was to get married at the hospital yesterday, because we saw Mama's condition at that time," said Tyas Mirasih.

He explained that his late mother had known the intention to marry Tengku Zaki. Tyas also admitted that he had received his blessing.

"But maybe God has other plans, you have to go. But at least it's calm because you have received the blessing of your mother, because there has been a previous talk," he said.

The moment when accompanying her mother at the end of her life was also called Tyas as a turning point, she was sure that Tengku Zaki was the right man to marry her. She called her husband at that time loyal to always be by her side.

"What makes me sure was that yesterday mama was sick. You could say it was a blessing in disguise, because with Tezi beside me I made a nemenin mama," said Tyas Mirasih.

"By looking at unfortunately he is with me, with family and with mama, that's the turning point. Maybe Allah calls me mama, but gives him to accompany me," he concluded.
