Playing An Investigative Role, Dwi Sasono Remembers The Moment When Questioned By The Police

JAKARTA - After successfully playing in the film Losmen Melati, Dwi Sasono was again present at the Losmen Melati The Series. He still plays the same character, a police investigator named Fadil.

"As an investigator, Fadil was a policeman who was thrown into the area for a certain reason. He didn't actually believe in mystical things and then he came to the Melati Inn which was considered odd, then he was there, the rest will see later," said Dwi Sasono explaining his character, during a press conference in Gandaria, South Jakarta on Wednesday, August 16.

The role as an investigator made Dwi Sasono remember his past when he was caught in a drug abuse case in mid-2020.

Dwi Sasono still maintains his long hair despite his role as an investigator. The decision was inspired when he was examined by police investigators.

"I was very happy when offered, but I asked if I was an investigator, I had to cut my hair, it wasn't," said Dwi Sasono.

"Then I was once in (police office) and I know that they are in a long way too. So yes, I seem to have entered there (police office) like they were told to do research," he continued with a smile.

Regarding the series played by Dwi Sasono this time, Widi Mulia's husband revealed that he really liked the storyline presented. In fact, he managed to read the entire script for the series Losmen Melati in one day.

"Indeed, from the beginning I read the script. I've fallen in love. I read all the scripts and I want to know what the story is. I read all the episodes for one day," said Dwi.

The 43-year-old actor then had his own shadow and expectations of the production process for the Losmen Melati series. However, the shooting location in Batam that he had prepared was said to exceed expectations.

"I immediately imagined 'Wow, this will be like this and so'. I arrived in Batam and saw what the set was like, so it turned out to be even cooler," he said.

The father of three was also amazed by the entire role in the series Losmen Melati, as well as the storyline which is very interesting and tense.

"The character of all the cast here is very strong and has a reason, it's not easy to make a story like that," concluded Dwi Sasono.
