Mario Teguh Was Examined For 4 Hours At Polda Metro Jaya For His Report Against Sunyoto

JAKARTA - Mario Teguh underwent an examination at Polda Metro Jaya on Friday, August 11 for his report on a businessman named Sunyoto and his wife, Syarah.

"Mr. Mario underwent an examination as a reporter, (he reported) regarding SIP's brother and SCB's sister," said Willy Lesmana Putra, Mario Teguh's attorney at Polda Metro Jaya, Friday, August 11.

One of the things reported by the 67-year-old motivator was the alleged fraud committed by Sunyota and his wife.

Mario Teguh himself began to undergo an examination at around 14.25 WIB. He was examined for approximately four hours.

Willy Lesmana Putra stated that Mario Teguh was asked 17 questions by investigators. However, he was reluctant to reveal the focus of questions for his client this time.

"If the context of the examination material will be asked by investigators," said Willy.

Regarding the form of fraud felt by Mario Teguh, Willy accused Sunyoto of not providing comprehensive information about skin care products that must be promoted.

But once again, Willy was again reluctant to reveal in detail what he meant.

"So, the information that should have been obtained was not presented with them before the signing of the cooperation agreement or MoU," said Willy.

Furthermore, Mario Teguh's attorney accused Sunyoto's skin care products of violating the Consumer Protection Act.

There is already one state institution that states that their products violate the Consumer Protection Act. There is a release, I can (release), an official statement from one of the institutions authorized to implement the Consumer Protection Act," he said.

As previously reported, Mario Teguh's report on Sunyoto and his wife stemmed from cooperation some time ago. Sunyoto asked Mario to promote his beauty products.

Then, Mario Teguh sued Sunyoto to the South Jakarta District Court (PN) on May 17 for being considered to have committed an unlawful act.

Not long ago, Sunyoto reported Mario Teguh back to Polda Metro Jaya on suspicion of fraud and embezzlement of funds on June 19.

Then, Mario Teguh again reported Sunyoto to Polda Metro Jaya because he was considered to have committed fraud. This report was filed last July.
