Total Playing The Role Of A Driver, Jourdy Pranata Learning Doesn't Care About Performance

JAKARTA - Jourdy Pranata's second horror film this year, Susuk: Kututan Beauty, will air in the near future. Under the direction of director Giranti Rona, he will compete acting with Hana Malasan.

In the film this time, Jourdy Pranata plays a driver named Arman. His role was felt quite different from his, so Jourdy decided to change his appearance.

To play a driver, Jourdy Pranata decided to keep his mustache growing. According to him, the character Arman wants the script is a musty man.

With the mustache left to grow, Jourdy wants to describe Arman as someone who doesn't care about his appearance.

"Why is there a mustache, I don't think he cares about his appearance, he doesn't care about his life anymore, because he just wants to survive, just how the people around him are safe and peaceful," said Jourdy Pranata at Epicentrum, South Jakarta, Friday, July 28.

In addition, Jourdy also decided to diet. The 29-year-old actor saw that the lifestyle that a driver usually lives is more suitable for a thin appearance.

"I lost quite a bit of weight. Because I think a driver likes to stay up late, then his life just sits in the car, continues to have less rest. So, I decided to take my character's body like that," said Jourdy Pranata.

Meanwhile, to build Arman's chemistry towards Laras' character who is looking for money as a commercial sex worker (PAK), Jourdy feels that he should know more about the life of prostitutes.

What I'm looking for is how to live or make friends with a prostitute. So, I and Hana had time to come to a prostitution place, then Hana and I also had time to rent an LC to ask questions like that," said Jourdy Pranata.

"So I know the perspective of commercial sex workers, what actually makes them decide to work like that, let alone use Susuk," he concluded.
