Kim Bum Will Hold Fanmeeting In 6 Cities, Jakarta Is On The List

JAKARTA - Indonesia is arguably one of the countries with an extraordinary Korean fan base. This year a series of South Korean actors and actresses greeted Indonesia through a fan meeting event including the most recent, Kim Bum.

Today, Friday, July 7, the King Kong by Starship agency announced that the actor will hold a fan meeting tour titled BUM or stands for Between U and Me.

In the shared poster, Kim Bum, who wore a white shirt, is seen being dominated by pink decorations. This poster also shows the six cities that the 33-year-old actor will visit.

Fanmeeting will start on August 25, 2023 in Tokyo then Jakarta on September 3, 2023, Bangkok, Manila, Cebu, and finally Seoul on October 9, 2023.

"Special time between you and me, only us. I will greet you through fan meeting," the agency tweeted the same day.

Kim Bum was first recognized for his role through the drama East of Eden. However, his career increased after he became So Yi Jung in the drama Boys Over Flowers in 2009. Kim Bum is said to be one of the actors who formed the Hallyu wave in his time.

He also starred in a series of hit dramas such as That Winter, The Wind Blows, Goddess of Fire, Padam Padam, and others. Kim Bum's popularity also led him to star in Chinese dramas and films such as Young Detective Dee and V Love as well as several other titles.

In 2015, Kim Bum returned to Korea Selaan and starred in several dramas until he was conscripted to the military in April 2018 and finished in March 2020.

Five years have passed since 2015, Kim Bum has been a hit with Tale of the Nine Tailed and has received a high rating. His acting was also appreciated through Law School and Ghost Doctor. This year he again starred in the Tale of Nine Tailed 1938 with Lee Dong Wook.
