Already In Jakarta, Kim Mingue Can't Wait To Taste Cooking Noodles

JAKARTA - Actor Kim Min-kyu or known as Kim Mingue visited Indonesia for the first time. Kim Mingue had the opportunity to greet his fans in the country during an event entitled "Smile With Kim Mingue" in Jakarta, Saturday, June 17.

Kim Mingue admitted that he wanted to immediately taste fried rice during his first visit.

"When I first came, I was really surprised or not. However, I felt excited to eat fried rice here because I had been eating it in Korea all this time," Kim Mingue said at a press conference.

The actor in the drama "Business Proposal" said he was a fan of fried rice dishes and often ordered them online in South Korea. Apart from fried rice, Kim Mingue also likes fried noodles.

He was then asked about his feelings of being able to set foot for the first time and meet his fans in Indonesia. Kim Mingue admitted that he was both nervous and excited.

"Hearing many fans in Indonesia, the first time they met them was nervous as well as excited. At the airport I met several fans. Later I will meet you at a fan meeting, I am very happy," said Kim Mingue, as quoted by Antara.

He said he had prepared many things at the event tonight for fans who were curious about the other side of him. Kim Mingue hopes this can provide beautiful memories for himself and his fans.

Apart from Jakarta, Kim Mingue also held fan meetings in Manila, Philippines and Bangkok, Thailand.

Kim Mingue is known to some people in Indonesia through a number of drama series such as "Signal" (2016), "Business Proposal" (2022), which led him to awards such as Excellent Actor and Best Couple Award from 2022 SBS Drama Awards.

He also participated in the drama "The Heavenly Idol" (2022) which was reportedly his last project before he served in the military.
