JAKARTA - Jimin BTS will show its vocal quality through its latest release. He is confirmed to fill the main soundtrack of Fast X, the latest film from the Fast & Furious franchise.

Today, Tuesday, May 9, the label that houses BTS, BigHit released a cover artwork from Jimin's latest song. The song is titled Angel and will be sung by Jimin with Kodak Black, NLE Chopra, JVKE, and Muni Long.

There was no teaser or information about the song released by BigHit. However, they revealed the release date of this song. The song titled Angel can be heard starting May 18, 2023 digitally.

This news was responded well to by fans. They are busy writing "Jimin is coming" which means Jimin will come with his new work.

Directed by Louis Leterrier, Fast X is the first film from the first part of the Fast & Furious franchise.

In this latest section, Dominic Singh (Vin Diesel) must protect his crew and family from Cipher (Charlize Theron) who is now joining Dante Reyes (Jason Momoa), son of drug kingpin leader Hernan Reyes who has revenge for the death of his father.

The film stars Diesel again with Michelle Rodriguez, Tyrese Gibson, Ludacris, John Cena, Jason Statham, Sung Kang, and Michael Rooker. Cardi B, Don Omar, and Pete Davidson are also planned to return to the film.

This year Jimin made his solo debut by releasing his first album. This album was welcomed by fans when the sales were selling well.

The album also takes Jimin as the first K-pop artist to reach first on the Billboard Hot 100 with Like Crazy.

The Fast X film will hit theaters on May 19, 2023.
