With continued box office domination and no high competition in the near future, "Avatar 2" is touted as having a chance to become the first film to reach USD 2 billion worldwide since the COVID-19 pandemic.

Avatar: The Way of Water isn't the only film showing strong signs at the domestic box office. The horror film "M3GAN" is expected to take second place by pocketing an additional USD 20 million during the four-day holiday period, as reported by Antara.

In addition, there is also "A Man Called Otto" which is predicted to occupy the third place at the box office with an estimated addition of 14.9 million US dollars during the same period.
