JAKARTA - Rock guitarist Wancum released a new instrumental single titled Sunflower. This song he dedicated to his wife.
Sunflower tells about the loyalty of his wife who has accompanied Wancum in ups and downs since the beginning of marriage until now.
"Her loyalty and sincerity is like the sun that always shines around her without being asked," Wancum told VOI.
Wrapped in progressive metal music, Sunflower presents frightening guitar distortions, dashing riffs, and elegant lick variants.
The cultivation process takes about two years. Wancum is busy as an office worker, so the reason why the release is delayed.
"It took that long because the writing, recording, mixing, and mastering were all done by myself. Except for the bass line, which was assisted by Daeng Oktav, ex-Edane," said Wancum.
