One Day After Its Release, 'All Of Us Are Dead' Is Leading In First Rank In 25 Countries

JAKARTA - The All of Us Are Dead series received a positive and enthusiastic response from netizens. The day after its release on January 28, the series topped Netflix in 25 countries.

Not only that, but the hashtag #AllofUsAreDead was also a trending topic for two days in a row. The success of All of Us Are Dead is said to have followed the Squid Game series, Hellbound, and Arcane.

Seeing the overwhelming response, director Lee JQ couldn't believe the popularity of All of Us Are Dead.

“I still can't believe all the love received from so many countries around the world, I'm so grateful. I think it's a great relief for the actors and staff who have been dedicated to this project for two years," said Lee JQ.

Adapted from a webtoon, Lee JQ tries to take the outline of a webtoon but changes a few things in the series.

“Regarding the original work, this (series) is similar to the base story. The storyline is also not far from the original version," said Lee JQ.

"However, viewers may feel that the series is different from the original version given that certain situations occur with certain characters," he explained.

All of Us Are Dead is a series by Lee JQ that tells the struggle of Hyosan High School students when their school was attacked by a zombie outbreak. They struggle without adult assistance and use limited tools.

Citing FlixPatrol, All of Us Are Dead is ranked in the Top 10 most watched series on Netflix. The series beat I Am Georgina, Ozark, and Archive 81.
