JAKARTA - Long awaited, Netflix has revealed a new title for the Korean version of the Money Heist series. Through their official account, they also uploaded a video containing a list of players with the roles taken.

Money Heist Korea will have the title Money Heist: Korea - Joint Economic Area. The story focuses on a robbery mission in an area of Korea where the crew faces a number of challenges.

According to a Netflix statement, viewers can look forward to the meaning behind the title Joint Economic Area.

A video teaser features Yoo Ji Tae as a Professor standing in front of six masks. The iconic Salvador Dali mask from the original is also seen among the rows of traditional Korean masks.

In addition, there is Kim Yunjin as Seon Woojin, the leader of the Crisis Negotiation team who made his first appearance in the video.

Netflix also introduced the eight main stars of Money Heist: Korea - Joint Economic Area with their role names and premiere photos. The eight players are Berlin (Park Hae-soo); Tokyo (Jun Jong-seo); Moscow (Lee Won-jong); Denver (Kim Ji-hun); Nairobi (Jang Yoon-ju); Rio (Lee Hyun-woo); Helsinki (Kim Ji-hoon); and Oslo (Lee Kyu-ho).

In late 2021, Netflix also released a teaser of Park Hae Soo as Berlin announcing that Money Heist: Korea will premiere in 2022.

Money Heist is a Spanish series created by Alex Pina and tells the story of a robbery mission under the direction of Professor. Their story just ended in Money Heist Part 5: Volume 2 which aired in early December.
