JAKARTA - To enliven the world of MotoGP motorcycle racing, Indonesia recently held the inauguration of the Mandalika Circuit or Pertamina Mandalika International Street Circuit on Friday 12 November. The Mandalika Circuit was inaugurated directly by the President of Indonesia, Joko Widodo in the Mandalika Special Economic Zone (KEK), Central Lombok Regency, West Nusa Tenggara Province.

President Jokowi has his own way of inaugurating the circuit, namely by testing the 4.3-kilometer circuit with ministers, using their respective motorbikes. The motorbike used by Mr. President is the Kawasaki W175 type. In addition to the type of motorbike, there is another interesting thing that did not escape the attention of netizens, namely a series of outfits worn by Mr. Jokowi from the feet to the head.

In President Jokowi's upload on his personal Instagram (@jokowi) he wrote "I tried the Mandalika Circuit completely with the support of domestic products. The helmets, jackets, pants, gloves, and even the shoes that I use are the work of the skilled hands of the nation's children. Comfortable to wear and safe to use. And quite stylish, right?".
