JAKARTA - The Tangerang Regency Government, Banten Province, is promoting the Free Health Check Program (CKG) for students, with a target of covering around 600,000 students in the region.
Deputy Regent of Tangerang, Intan Nurul Hikmah, said that the target of this program is expected to be fully achieved by the end of 2025.
"Hopefully, by December, the number of participants can reach approximately 600,000 students," he said when met in Tangerang, as quoted by ANTARA.
According to Intan, the implementation of the CKG Program for students has started since the end of last July. To date, around 32,000 students have participated in health checks through this program. He hopes that in the future more schools and students will be involved.
"Since yesterday's launch, there have been 32,000 students who have undergone examination," he added.
In order to expedite the implementation of the program, the Tangerang Regency Government sent a health team from related agencies to schools spread across each sub-district. In addition, health facilities such as health centers and hospitals are also involved to support this health service.
