Need Nutrition Intake, This Is The Voice Of The Family's Heart In Lebak To Overcome Stunting Risks

JAKARTA - A total of 45,254 stunting risk families (KRS) in Lebak Regency, Banten need nutritional intake to prevent stunting or growth and development of children aged five years to prepare for the 2045 Golden Generation.

"We have to save the KRS so that their children do not become stunted," said the Head of Population Control and Family Planning at the Department of Women's Empowerment for Child Protection and Population and Family Planning (DP3AKKB) Lebak Tuti Nurasiah Regency in Lebak, quoted from ANTARA.

Local governments are now in the handling of KRS, which has launched a program for foster parents to prevent stunting (Genting) by involving various components ranging from regional apparatus organizations (OPD), SOEs, private companies, community leaders, religious leaders, educational institutions and the media.

These various components become foster parents by raising funds to help prevent stunting.

This is because the handling of stunting prevention cannot be done alone, but involves various components to help raise funds which will be managed by the National Zakat Agency (Baznas) of Lebak Regency and distributed to Kitchen volunteers to Overcome Stunting (Dahsyat) spread throughout the village.

The powerful volunteers, he said, made a variety of nutritious foods and protein to distribute to 45,254 KRS.

In addition, 4,286 pregnant women, 14,301 two-year-old infants (Baduta), and 45,690 toddlers.

They get this nutritional intake depending on the recovery condition, some two months and six months.

"We intervened so that in this area there will be no more stunting cases," said Tuti.
