Bank Mandiri Distributes Infrastructure Loans Of IDR 412.13 Trillion

JAKARTA - PT Bank Mandiri (Persero) Tbk (BMRI) reported that until August 2025 it had disbursed infrastructure loans amounting to Rp412.13 trillion.

This amount grew by 15.23 percent year on year (yoy) when compared to the same period last year which was recorded at Rp357.65 trillion.

Bank Mandiri's Corporate Secretary, M Ashidiq Iswara, said that Bank Mandiri's support for infrastructure financing is a mission to strengthen inter-regional connectivity, increase people's productivity, and encourage inclusive and fair economic development.

"This step is not only building roads, bridges, or airports, but also paves the way for people to grow, be empowered and prosper," said Ossy, Ashidiq's nickname, Monday, October 13.

Ossy detailed that the credit has been distributed to various strategic sub-sectors, including roads, transportation, oil and gas and renewable energy, electricity, telematics, public housing, city facilities, and construction.

This financing includes the construction of vital projects such as toll roads, airports, ports, and rail networks that now provide direct benefits to the community and the business world.

"This distribution is a tangible manifestation of Bank Mandiri's role in supporting infrastructure development outside the State Revenue and Expenditure Budget (APBN)," he added.

Subsektor transportasi menjadi kontributor terbesar dengan penyaluran kredit infrastruktur tersebut mencapai Rp121,44 triliun, tumbuh 33,9 persen yoy.

Sementara itu, subsektor jalan meningkat 18,1 persen yoy menjadi Rp55,81 triliun.

The transportation sub-sector is the largest contributor with infrastructure credit distribution reaching IDR 121.44 trillion, growing 33.9 percent yoy.

Meanwhile, road sub-sectors increased 18.1 percent yoy to IDR 55.81 trillion.

Financing for oil and gas and renewable energy grew 16.3 percent yoy to IDR 39.66 trillion, and telematics reached IDR 40.16 trillion, an increase of 11.0 percent yoy.
