Telan Rp1.34 T, Pembangunan 65 Titik KNMP Bakal Diwasti Kejagung Hingga CCTV

JAKARTA - The government has started the construction of the Merah Putih Fisherman Village (KNMP) in 65 locations. The construction of the KNMP, which was initiated by the Ministry of Maritime Affairs and Fisheries (KKP), cost Rp1.34 trillion and is targeted for completion by the end of 2025.

Special Staff to the Minister of Marine Affairs and Fisheries for Public Relations and Public Communication, Doni Ismanto Darwin, said that the construction of the KNMP would be carried out with strict supervision involving technological instruments to law enforcement agencies.

"As a priority government program that gets special attention from President Prabowo, the implementation of the KNMP program certainly requires maximum supervision. This program is built using the APBN, so the benefits must really be felt by the people there," Doni said in his official statement, written Friday, September 26.

As a supervisory effort, the KKP has prepared a supervisory consultant, a special field supervisory team and is collaborating with the Deputy Attorney General for Intelligence (Jamintel) of the Attorney General's Office (AGO).

Synergy with law enforcement agencies is important to unravel early on the potential for threats, disturbances, obstacles and challenges that can hinder the implementation of these priority programs.

The KKP also requires the installation of CCTV in each location so that development progress can be monitored in real time from anywhere, including by the Minister of KP Sakti Wahyu Trenggono.

CCTV installation is also targeted to be completed and connected this week. Thus, the construction of KNMP can be monitored by the Minister of KP Sakti Wahyu Trenggono and his staff.

In addition to being monitored by internal KKP, external and technological instruments, the KKP invites media crews to participate in overseeing the implementation of the KNMP which is projected to absorb the 7,000 workers.
