Minister Of Transportation Dudy Officially Opens The 2025 Eid Transport Command Post

JAKARTA - The Ministry of Transportation officially opened the Coordination Post (Posko) of the 2025 Eid Transport Center.

This post aims to make cross-sectoral coordination in the implementation of Eid 2025 Transportation run well.

The opening of this post was carried out at the Head Office of the Ministry of Transportation, Jakarta, Friday, March 21. The command post will operate 24 hours during the period from March 21 to April 11.

In addition to the Ministry of Transportation, other agencies that fill the command posts consist of the Ministry of Communication and Digital Affairs, the Ministry of Tourism, Korlantas Polri, Basarnas, BMKG, KNKT, PT Jasa Marga (Persero), Astra Infra Toll Nusantara, PT Jasa Raharja (Persero), PT. ASDP Indonesia Ferry (Persero), PT Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero), PT KCIC, PT PELNI (Persero), PT Angkasa Pura Indonesia, Perum LPPNPI/AirNav, Senkom Mitra Polri, RAPI and ORARI.

Minister of Transportation Dudy Purwagandhi said the Eid Transport Command Post would become the command and coordination center in monitoring and controlling the flow of homecoming.

Furthermore, Dudy said, the government is working 24 hours to ensure that all modes of transportation operate optimally.

Recent information regarding traffic conditions, weather, and other important information is also available through various communication channels.

"Today, we gather to mark the start of the operation of the 2025 Eid Transport Center Command Post which will last for 22 days, starting from March 21 to April 11, 2025," said Dudy, quoted from the Ministry of Transportation's YouTube, Friday, March 21.

Dudy said opening this post was an important moment in an effort to ensure a safe, comfortable, smooth, and safe homecoming trip for all Indonesian people.

Furthermore, Dudy revealed, the big challenge faced every year in violating Lebaran Transportation is ensuring smoothness and safety of travel during the Lebaran period, amidst the high movement of the community.

"The government has also prepared adequate transportation facilities and infrastructure to support smooth homecoming," he said.

Dudy said his party had also ramp-checked to ensure that all fleets were roadworthy and safe to operate. A total of 30,451 buses, 772 ships, 404 aircraft, and 2,550 train units are ready for use.

In addition, said Dudy, the Ministry of Transportation has also coordinated with all relevant parties, ranging from across Ministries and Institutions, TNI-Polri, Regional Governments, to transportation business actors, to ensure all aspects of homecoming travel run well.

Dudy hopes that the entire community will make safety a top priority, pay attention to every detail of travel preparation, always use accurate information through various official government information, and work together, coordinate, and collaborate in creating safe and smooth homecoming trips.
