JAKARTA - President Prabowo Subianto is planned to inaugurate the Hajj service at Terminal 2F of Soekarno-Hatta Airport (Soetta) in May 2025. Previously, Hajj services were served at Terminal 3.
This was revealed by the Minister of State-Owned Enterprises (BUMN) Erick Thohir in a press conference on the Umrah Hajj immigration process at Terminal 2 Soetta, at the Ministry of SOEs Office, Jakarta, Friday, March 14.
"God willing, Mr. President is pleased to inaugurate Terminal 2F for improving Hajj services," said Erick.
Erick said the Hajj special service at Terminal 2F is targeted to start operating in May 2025. Meanwhile, for Umrah services, it is targeted to operate this month.
"If the Umrah plan may be a transition this May," said Erick.
Meanwhile, the Minister of Immigration and Corrections, Agus Andrianto, explained that the government has provided a fast track for Makkah Route, for the ease of immigration services for Hajj pilgrims.

Agus explained that with Makkah Rote, the immigration process from what should have been done at the airport for the arrival of pilgrims (Jeddah and Medina), was moved to the departure airport (Indonesia).
