Commemorating The K3 Month, MHU Collaborates With Partners To Create A Safe And Productive Environment

JAKARTA - PT Multi Harapan Utama (MHU) together with partners held a series of activities to commemorate the National Work Safety and Health Month (K3) in 2025 with the theme 'Strengthening Human Resources Capacity in Supporting the Implementation of the K3 Management System (SMK3) to Improve Productivity'.

MHU together with partners take advantage of this moment to emphasize dedication to a safe and productive work culture. As one of the business units of MMS Group Indonesia (MSGI) in the MMS Resources pillar line, MHU is committed to continuing to increase awareness and concern of all employees and partners who contribute to overall occupational safety and health in creating a safe, comfortable, and productive work environment.

Head of MHU Mining Engineering (KTT), Aris Subagyo said the National K3 Month commemoration is a moment to increasingly understand that the importance of safety in the work area is not only for MHU employees but also for partners to achieve zero accidents and zero fatality.

"Work safety and health are not just obligations, but are cultures that we must continue to build together. Through the commemoration of the 2025 National K3 Month, we want to ensure that every MHU employee and partner has a strong understanding of the importance of work safety and contributes to creating a safer, more productive, and sustainable work environment," said Aris in his remarks at the opening of the K3 Month commemoration.

As part of active engagement with partners, MHU held a K3 program innovation competition, which encouraged active participation in creating more effective safety solutions in the work environment. In addition, a series of sports competitions were also held to build a spirit of togetherness and improve the physical health of workers such as badminton and mini Soccer.

MHU involves partners in socialization to strengthen an integrated K3 culture and ensure that all stakeholders comply with national K3 regulations and corporate policies.

In this way, it is hoped that it can reduce the risk of accidents and ensure efficient operational sustainability. In addition, partners who have a strong understanding of K3 will be more efficient in working so that they can minimize downtime due to incidents or work accidents.

MHU is committed to continuing to strengthen the implementation of SMK3 in every line of operation and ensure that the work safety culture is integrated throughout the company's ecosystem, creating an environment that is not only safe but also sustainable.

The commemoration of the National K3 Months aims to increase awareness and compliance of workers as well as business actors with the importance of implementing the K3 principle. Through controlling all potential hazards to achieving safe standards, a healthy and safe work environment can be created.
