JAKARTA - The family of singer Keisya Levronka expressed deep disappointment with the standard operating procedures (SOP) of Tarumanagara University (Untar).

This is related to the first handling when his younger brother, Lexi Valleno Havlenda, fell from the sixth floor of the campus building while participating in an activity. Keisya's mother, Levi Leonita Davies, said the handling of the campus was very risky for her child's life.

"My son was lifted from the 6th floor to the bottom without any basis at all, they didn't call an ambulance. With the excuse that it was long. So they called Grab," said Mrs. Levi when met at the West Jakarta District Court, Wednesday, July 1.

The disappointment peaked when he found out that Lexi was only seated in a wheelchair without adequate medical equipment.

"So my son was picked up from the floor, put in a wheelchair, and pushed to the front of the gate because the Grab was waiting in front. Yes, he was picked up again, put into the Grab," he added in a bitter tone.

Leti's mother questioned the competence of the medical team and a large campus like Untar in handling emergency situations.

"It should have been a medical team that was on standby. They must know the risks if this action is taken, what the risks are for the victim. Well, here is what I don't see," he said.

According to him, as an institution that has been around for a long time, Untar should have clear security protocols.

"A class organization as big as the Tarumanagara Foundation, from '76 if I'm not mistaken, Untar was founded, SOP should have been there. But it turns out that there is no SOP for the coach after I asked," said Ibu Leti.

For the mother, Lexi's physical injuries can never be exchanged for any amount of money.

"Whoever the mother is, if the child is asked, it's life. The child's life can't be measured by anything like that. So it's not just disappointed, it's destroyed," he said.

Lexi himself until now still feels the very heavy physical impact due to the incident.

"Sometimes for the bathroom, which should be able to be held, so it can't be held, because the reflex hasn't formed," Lexi said about her nerve condition.

Lexi admitted that her daily activities were still very limited and needed the help of others.

"If now maybe the nerves are the same as the pen, from daily activities it is still quite disturbed, it can't walk normally," he said.

The family's lawyer, Hendro Widodo, stated that the main point of the lawsuit was the lack of responsive handling.

"The family's disappointment was the first because of the lack of response from Untar. The Untar party believes that what happened was an activity that was not an official activity," said Hendro.

Now, the family is taking legal action to demand material and immaterial accountability. Hendro said that his client asked for compensation of Rp. 1 billion to Tarumanagara University and the Tarumanagara Foundation.

"One billion more, more or less like that," said Hendro.
