Pertamina Patra Niaga Sets 3 Kg LPG Distribution: Retailers Play A Sub Base

JAKARTA - PT Pertamina Patra Niaga revealed that in order to organize the distribution of 3 kg LPG to be more targeted, the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM) ensures that as a sub silt, retailers can still make purchases at the base.

"Systemically, retailers have been registered with the Pertamina Merchant Applications (MAP)," said Pertamina Patra Niaga Corporate Secretary Heppy Wulansari in Jakarta, quoted by Antara, Tuesday, February 4.

The policy aims to maintain the availability of 3 kg LPG for people who are entitled to and improve distribution control.

Currently, nearly 63 million population identification numbers (NIK) have been registered in the MAP system, with details of 53.7 million households, 8.6 million micro-enterprises, 50 thousand target farmers/lattices, and 375 thousand NIK retailers.

"With this scheme, it is hoped that services to the community will be maintained, as well as increase government supervision through Pertamina regarding the distribution and consumers of 3 kg LPG," said Heppy.

The government ensures that the 3 kg LPG supply has not changed and remains in accordance with the predetermined quota.

Distribution arrangement only aims to ensure subsidies are right on target, not to reduce supply for eligible communities.

Previously, Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources Bahlil Lahadalia stated that he would increase the status of 3 kg LPG retailers to 3 kg LPG base.
