JAKARTA - PT Bank Tabungan Negara (Persero) Tbk (BTN) has started the acquisition process of Islamic commercial banks, namely PT Bank Victoria Syariah (BVIS). In this corporate action, BTN will take over 100 percent stake in Bank Victoria Syariah ownership.

"Later we will invitate, if there are no problems, we plan to install one of the large Islamic organizations in Indonesia to jointly own it," said Nixon after the Christmas celebration of the Ministry of SOEs at Jiexpo Kemayoran, Jakarta, Monday, January 20.

On the other hand, Nixon explained that the acquisition process for Bank Victoria Syariah had entered the stage of signing the Conditional Sale Agreement (CSPA). The target is that the acquisition can be ratified after the BTN General Meeting of Shareholders (GMS) which will be held on March 14, 2025.
