Lion Parcel Targets 100 Percent Increase In Number Of Shipment During Ramadan

JAKARTA - The expedition company Lion Parcel (PT Lion Express) has added infrastructure in anticipation of a spike in shipments during Ramadan and Eid and at the same time inviting Indonesians to send kindness to each other.

Lion Parcel CEO, Farian Kirana, in an official statement received in Jakarta, Friday, said Lion Parcel increased the infrastructure of the land transportation fleet by 25 percent, couriers by 20 percent, agents 40 percent to hubs by 50 percent.

Farian said, through infrastructure improvements, it is hoped that it can support the needs of areas that do not have airports and the addition of truck fleets can help improve the efficiency and optimization of the Lion Parcel route.

The addition of couriers, agents and hubs, he explained, is an effort to anticipate the boom in delivery packages in the month of Ramadan so that Lion Parcel can provide excellent service to every customer.

Lion Parcel also targets this year's delivery reach to increase to 98 percent from 96 percent of Indonesia's territory. Not only that, Lion Parcel also appealed to the Indonesian people to send common goodness in the holy month of Ramadan.

"Through the #KirimKebaikan program, we can provide and feel the benefits together with just one hand," said Farian.

Lion Parcel launched three series of #KirimKebaikan program to provide more benefits to the community. First, the CSR program collaborates with Aksi Cepat Tanggap (ACT) to donate food, clothing, toys and books through the Lion Parcel application for free shipping. This program aims to support the food needs of orphans and poor people in Indonesia.

"We hope that the community can participate in providing donations for orphans and dhuafa that we will collect and distribute by the ACT team. Through the Lion Parcel application, the community simply chooses the option of the donation feature. Then, our courier will pick up the donation and free of charge. , "he explained.

The second program is the SIKAT (Half a Kilo Savings) Promo for sending packages and documents in the form of a round-down shipping discount for each additional 0.5 kilogram of load to support the needs of MSMEs in Indonesia.

In addition, Lion Parcel also launched a new product, the BIGPACK service, which is a solution for people who want to send large packages at affordable prices.
