AHY Calls 2,086 Ha Lands In Troubled IKN, Ministry Of PUPR Responds Like This

JAKARTA - Minister of Spatial Planning/National Land Agency (ATR/BPN) Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono (AHY) said, as many as 2,086 hectares (ha) of land in the capital city of the archipelago (IKN) were still problematic.

Responding to this, the Head of the IKN Infrastructure Development Task Force at the Ministry of PUPR, Danis H Sumadilaga, also confirmed the news.

Based on the data owned, a number of lands that are still problematic are located at the Sepaku flood control site with 2.5 ha. Next, around Toll Roads 6A and 6B. The other locations are in the access area to the Mosque in IKN.

"That's part of the 2,000 ha (problem)," said Danis when met at the PUPR Ministry office, Jakarta, Friday, April 26.

Danis also explained a number of reasons for the total problem with the 2,000 ha of land. One of them is the 6A and 6B Toll Roads. In that area, Danis said, there are still people who live on land with Asset status in Control (ADP).

"ADP, that's, assets in mastery are like state land. Right, we can't 'we are state property or belonging to the community?' That's what needs to be clarified on the legal aspect, it can't be done at once. There are many, the problem is," he said.

Danis also did not deny that the unclear factor of land would have an impact on the speed of the development of the Nusantara IKN. Therefore, he said, the government was trying to resolve the issue.

"Oh, yes. Right, Mr. AHY got the task of completing it too," he added.

Previously reported, ATR/BPN Minister Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono (AHY) said that there were 2,086 hectares of land for the construction of the capital city of the archipelago (IKN) which was still problematic.

"We highlight that there are areas of land, mainly 2,086 hectares, which are currently not clear, to be used for IKN development. So, there are several locations where there are still people," AHY said after meeting Jokowi at the Presidential Palace Jakarta, Wednesday, April 24.

AHY explained, a number of plots of land from 2,086 hectares of the land are priority areas for IKN development.
