ASN Flats Progress At IKN Average Reaches 40 Percent

JAKARTA - The Task Force for the Implementation of Infrastructure Development of the Capital Nusantara or IKN revealed that the progress of the construction of ASN flats (Rusun) in Nusantara, East Kalimantan on average reached 40 percent.

"On average, the construction progress reaches 40 percent," said Head of the IKN Infrastructure Development Implementation Task Force Danis Sumadilaga quoting Antara.

The Ministry of PUPR noted that the progress of the construction of the National Police Flats had reached 42 percent, then the progress of the ASN 2 Flats was around 30 percent, and the ASN 3 Flats reached 32 percent.

"On average, the ASN Flats project in IKN has started topping off," said Danis.

Overall, 47 ASN-Hankam flat towers have a total of 2,820 units with a type of 98 m2 for each unit. The construction of flats consists of 31 flats for ASN with a total of 1,860 units.

Then the Hankam Flats consist of 7 flats for National Police personnel and the State Intelligence Agency (BIN) and 9 flats for the Presidential Security Forces (Paspampres) with a total of 960 units.

Each tower as high as 12 floors, consisting of floors 1 and 2 are used for the podium of social facilities/public facilities (fitness, public spaces, and so on), while the remaining 10 floors are for housing. Each unit is prepared for three bedrooms. So in one unit there are each bedroom for one person.

The construction of 47 ASN-Hankam towers was carried out for 19 months with a complete target of completion in December 2024. The ASN-Hankam Flats are located in the Central Government Core Area (KIPP) and IKN sub-WP 1A with a total land area of 45.91 hectares.

The Ministry of PUPR in this case is tasked with ensuring the certainty of the availability of infrastructure and facilities in IKN, while the IKN Authority will later regulate the details about filling or occupying the tower.

The IKN Authority has a responsibility to ensure the operationalization of the management of the flats that have been built by the Ministry of PUPR, in order to create small ecosystems in residential areas that are habitable with all facilities to support the activities of residents at IKN.

In the process of building the ASN-Hankam Flats at IKN Nusantara, the Ministry of PUPR applies at least three criteria for implementing development with the principles of Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) or Environment, Social and Governance (LST).
