Launching In GJAW, ADAS Diamond Sense Feature Surgery In Mitsubishi XForce

JAKARTA - At the Gaikindo Jakarta Auto Week (GJAW) PT Mitsubishi Motors Krama Yudha Sales Indonesia (MMKSI) officially introduced a new variant of XForce, namely Ultimate with Diamond Sense.

General Manager of Product Strategy Division of PT MMKSI Guntur Harling, revealed the meaning of the name Diamond Sense embedded in XForce, which means a tough Mitsubishi vehicle that has advanced technology.

"Arti from Diamond symbolizes a strong and resilient Mitsubishi, meanwhile Sense describes technology," he said, when met at ICE BSD, Tangerang, Monday, November 26.

The model launched by the Tiga Berlian manufacturer is now equipped with a complete ADAS feature. Such as Adaptive Cruise Control with Low Speed Follow, Automatic High Beam which can be used to adjust the lights to road conditions, Forward Collision Mitigation which really helps drivers avoid collisions with front vehicles, and this feature detects distance and warns if there is a potential accident.

Not only that, there is also the Lead Car Departure Notification System which gives a signal that the vehicle in front has started walking or moving away, Blind Spot Warning, Near Cross Traffic Alert, Auto Headlight, Auto Rain Sensor to Rear Camera.

The new feature embedded in Mitsubishi XForce is actually the same as several other brands that have also embedded ADAS in the model line, but there are interesting things.

The flagship feature offered on XForce Diamond Sense is adaptive crude control (ACC) with low speed follow. Guntur said the feature could be used or followed by vehicles in front of it at low speed.

"So, this ACC feature can be used for a minimum speed of 30 km/hour, and can be from stop n go," he added.

In addition to the ADAS feature, MMKSI also embeds new things on its interior, such as the embedding of a two-tone exterior color, namely the color body of the selected vehicle available with a black roof, as well as the addition of a real spoiler, as well as Roof Rail.
