MNC Energy Investments, Conglomerate Hary Tanoesoedibjo's Company, Signing A Sale And Purchase Agreement With These 3 Parties

JAKARTA - The company owned by the conglomerate Hary Tanoesoedibjo, PT MNC Energy Investments Tbk (IATA), through its coal subsidiary, PT Bhakti Coal Resources (BCR), has signed a sale and purchase agreement with three buyers, namely SAII Resources Pte Ltd., Visa Resources Pte Ltd, and CPTL Pte Ltd.

In an official statement from IATA quoted on Tuesday, September 20, the company will earn an additional US$ 108.42 million in revenue from these three contracts and will continue to anticipate more contracts in the future, as production increases.

In addition, the company revealed that CPTL Pte Ltd will also invest in the construction of a haul road and port conveyor for PT Bhumi Sriwijaya Perdana Coal (BSPC), a subsidiary of BCR. This is to boost production and transportation efficiency, with an estimated investment of US$10 million.

The signing ceremony was held to coincide with the Coaltrans Asia conference. After a 2-year hiatus due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Coaltrans Asia, the largest coal conference in Asia, was again held offline at the Bali International Convention Center (BICC) at The Westin Resort Nusa Dua, Bali (18-20 September 2022).

In addition to participating in the conference, IATA also welcomes potential buyers, as well as potential vendors to support operational activities such as contractors, logistics companies, surveyors, and others.
