Bank Mandiri Distributes Aid For Victims Of Mount Semeru Eruption

JAKARTA - Bank Mandiri distributed humanitarian aid for victims of the eruption of Mount Semeru, located in Malang Regency and Lumajang Regency, East Java. The Social and Environmental Responsibility Program (TJSL) is distributed to two sub-districts, namely Pronojiwo District and Candipuro District, which are located on the connecting route between Lumajang and Malang.

Bank Mandiri Corporate Secretary Rudi Asaturridha explained that this TJSL was carried out in collaboration with the Mandiri Amal Insani Foundation (MAI) to distribute directly to people in need, or to be given to local governments, including coordinating with the Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD).

Meanwhile, the assistance provided included ready-to-eat food, proper clothing, blankets, mats, raincoats, medical masks, mineral water, and medicines intended for victims of the disaster. Not only that, but Bank Mandiri through this Disaster Response Action will also collaborate with Mandiri Amal Insani (MAI) in meeting the needs for providing logistics posts, health services, evacuations to public kitchens.
