BRI, BNI, Bank Mandiri, And BTN Fund IDR 550 Billion To ITDC For The MotoGP Event At Mandalika NTB

JAKARTA - A state-owned bank that is a member of the Association of State-Owned Banks (Himbara) has provided a syndicated credit facility of Rp. 550 billion to PT Pembangunan Wisata Indonesia (Persero) or the Indonesia Tourism Development Corporation (ITDC) for the development of the Special Economic Zone (SEZ) Mandalika, NTB. The credit also includes the construction of special area roads (JKK) or street circuits and financing for motor racing.

Himbara, which consists of Bank Mandiri, BNI, BRI, and BTN, will provide syndicated credit facilities in the form of investment credit for JKK development with a limit of Rp. /SBLC with a limit of up to 14.6 million euros.

I will repeat what was conveyed by the Deputy Minister of BUMN II during the signing of the MoU last year that the construction of the Mandalika International Street Circuit is very important for Indonesia. Meanwhile, ITDC President Director Abdulbar M Mansoer said the investment credit facility for the construction of the street circuit with a limit of Rp. 400 billion will be fully utilized to meet development financing, some of which have been financed using state capital investment funds (PMN) of Rp. 500 billion received in 2020. .

Abdulbar added that his party was also proud that the Mandalika International Street Circuit was chosen as the MotoGP Pre Season Test venue in February 2022. The company focused on completing the construction of the street circuit and preparing for the November 12-14 WSBK event, the MotoGP Pre Season Test in February 2022, and the MotoGP March 2022.

The construction of the Mandalika International Street Circuit is proceeding smoothly according to schedule. The main track was completed on August 14, while other supporting facilities such as race control, pit building foundations and a medical center equipped with a helipad inside the JKK complex are being worked on. Overall, the construction of the JKK has reached 96 percent and is targeted for completion by the end of September 2021.
