Ciawi-Cigombong Toll Tariff Increases To Rp14 Thousand For Group I, How Much For Group II To V?

JAKARTA - The tariff for the Ciawi-Sukabumi Toll Road Section I or the Ciawi-Cigombong Toll Road will increase starting today, Monday, August 23. This increase applies to all groups.

PT Trans Jabar Tol (TJT) in its official Instagram account, @TransJabarTol announced this toll rate increase. TJT is a Toll Road Business Entity (BUJT) owned by PT Waskita Toll Road which manages the Ciawi-Sukabumi Toll Road.

"Hello #SobatBOCIMI, on August 23, 2021, at 00.00 WIB, there will be a tariff adjustment on the Ciawi-Sukabumi Toll Road," TJT wrote on his Instagram account, quoted Monday, August 23.

TJT said the tariff adjustment was based on the Decree of the Minister of Public Works and Public Housing Number 821/KPTS/M/2021 dated June 25, 2021.

In detail, the tariff for class I vehicles from Ciawi-Cigombong Interchange increased from Rp12 thousand to Rp14 thousand. Then, class II and III vehicles amounted to Rp21 thousand, from the previous Rp18 thousand. Meanwhile, class IV and V vehicles apply a new tariff of Rp28 thousand from the previous Rp24 thousand.

Overall, the Ciawi-Sukabumi Toll Road consists of 4 sections, namely Section 1 Ciawi-Cigombong along 15.35 km, which has been operating since December 2018.

Then, Section 2 Cigombong-Cibadak is 11.90 km long, Section 3 Cibadak-West Sukabumi is 13.70 km long and Section 4 West Sukabumi-East Sukabumi is 13.05 km long.

The Ministry of Public Works and Public Housing (PUPR) targets the construction of the Ciawi-Sukabumi Toll Road Section 2 of the Cigombong-Cibadak section of 11.9 km to be completed by the end of 2021. Currently, the construction has reached 75.55 percent.
