JAKARTA - The state-owned construction company PT PP (Persero) Tbk attended the Groundbreaking Ceremony for the Arrangement of the Besakih Temple, located in Karangasem, Bali. This area structuring project will be carried out with an implementation period of 515 calendar days with a maintenance period of 360 calendar days. The project, which started in August 2021, is optimistic that it will be completed according to the set target, which is December 2022.

The structuring of the Besakih Temple area is carried out by improving facilities and infrastructure which includes two areas, namely the Manik Mas Area, an increase in the capacity of the parking lot along the arrangement of supporting facilities and infrastructure.

In addition to these areas, the arrangement of buildings and utilities in the context of protecting the Pura Agung Besakih area will be carried out in the entrance area or the Bencingah Area. The project, which is valued at IDR 387 billion, is funded by the State Budget for the 2021-2022 Fiscal Year.

PTPP will carry out construction work in the Manik Mas Area, which consists of a five-story parking building and basement, 18 large kiosk units, 12 small kiosk units, bale pasandekan, anjung building, and access road facilities.

Meanwhile, in the Bencingah Area, PT PP will work on the construction of 196 units of large kiosks, 124 units of small kiosks, bale pasandekan, bale gong, as well as courtyards and children's play areas.
