Arsjad Rasjid Appoints Conglomerates Chairul Tanjung To Aburizal Bakrie In Kadin's Management, What's His Position?

JAKARTA - Chairman of the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Arsjad Rasjid announced the new management structure for the period 2021-2026. In the list of names mentioned by Arsjad, there is one name that attracts attention, namely Chairul Tanjung who was appointed as chairman of the business board.

For your information, in the previous management, there were only two chairmen of the board, namely the Advisory Council and the Advisory Board, but now the Honorary Council and the Business Council have been added.

"He will chair this business board, once again we thank Mr. Chairul Tanjung. It is an honor for us together that Mr. Chairul Tanjung joins us to build a more advanced Chairman of the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry", he said at a press conference to announce the virtual composition of the Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry board, Monday, August 9th.

Then, said Arsjad, the position of Chairman of the Advisory Board was filled by MS Hidayat. Furthermore, the position of Chairman of the Honorary Council is Rosan Roeslani, and its members are Aburizal Bakrie, MS Hidayat, Adi Putra Tahir, and also Suryo Bambang Sulistyo.

On this occasion, the coordinator of the Deputy General Chair (WKU), the deputy general chairman, and the head of the agency was also announced. Meanwhile, the permanent commission, the permanent commission representative, and the members of the board will be announced one month after this event.

"Because after all, there needs to be a discussion between WKU and the head of the agency to discuss which organs are in it, where we have to do the discussion together. Therefore, the announcement was made one month after this event", he said.
