JAKARTA - A total of 939 people with disabilities or disabilities in North Penajam Paser Regency will receive social assistance from the province of East Kalimantan in August 2021.

Bagenda Ali continued, social assistance for people with disabilities will begin to be distributed in August 2021. Assistance for people with disabilities in North Penajam Paser Regency is IDR 1.5 million per person.
Hundreds of people with disabilities who received the assistance were spread across four sub-districts in North Penajam Paser Regency.
"We only facilitated and submitted data, then the provincial government and banks opened accounts for the recipients of the social assistance," said Bagenda Ali.
The bank provides people with disabilities with ATM cards (automated teller machines), so that assistance is taken through ATMs.
Thus there is no crowd taking social assistance to avoid the transmission of COVID-19.
"Currently the condition of the corona virus pandemic, so social assistance is not taken in cash at the bank," explained Bagenda Ali.
