Knock! DPR Approves Additional PMN 2021 Rp33.9 Trillion For Waskita, KAI, And Hutama Karya

JAKARTA - Minister of State-Owned EnteIDRrises, Erick Thohir, proposed an additional 2021 State Capital Participation (PMN) for three SOEs amounting to IDR 33.9 trillion. He said that this PMN will be focused on strategic projects with a portion of 80.7 percent.

"Of course we emphasize once again, the majority of PMN assignments have been carried out before all of us were here (serving as ministers). We must complete them according to the mandate of this assignment", he said in a Working Meeting with Commission VI, Wednesday, July 14.

Erick said that of the total IDR 33.9 trillion, this would be given to three state-owned companies. One of them is PT Waskita Karya (Persero) amounting to IDR 7.9 trillion.

"This additional allocation will be used to strengthen capital in the context of restructuring", he said.

Then, for PT KAI (Persero) IDR 7 trillion which is run for PSN LRT support of IDR 2.7 trillion and the fulfillment of fast trains of IDR 4.3 trillion.

"Then for PT Hutama Karya (Persero) IDR 19 trillion is used for the construction of the Trans Sumatra toll road", he said.

Furthermore, Erick emphasized that his party will continue to explore the addition of this PMN to the three companies.

In response to the proposal, the chairman of the Bima Arya meeting asked the members to present whether the proposed addition of the 2021 PMN for the three SOEs could be approved. Commission VI also approved the proposed addition of PMN with a note.

"Indonesian House of Representatives Commission VI may approve a proposal for additional state capital participation for the Fiscal Year 2020 one for handling COVID-19 and to move the national economy during the COVID-19 pandemic, provided that it is carried out in a transparent, accountable manner and is reported regularly to House of Representatives Commission VI", said Bima Arya.
