The fuel tanker fire incident occurred on Saturday, October 11 at around 03.45 WIB.

Area Manager Communication, Relations & CSR Pertamina Patra Niaga JBB Regional, Susanto August Satria confirmed that in that incident there were no fatalities, while two people suffered minor injuries and had received medical treatment.

Furthermore, Susanto also said that the fire was successfully extinguished by the fire fighting team shortly after the incident.

"The gas station area has been declared safe. Currently, we are conducting sterilization and temporary closure for the evacuation process and further investigation," he said when contacted by VOI, Sunday, October 12.

Susanto also ensured that the supply of fuel for the community remained safe after the tank car fire incident at the 3411403 gas station, Jalan Kemanggisan Utama Raya, West Jakarta.
