Rosan: Danantara Assigned By Evaluation Of Downstreaming Projects For Effective Investment

Head of the Anagata Nusantara Power Investment Management Agency (BPI Danantara) Rosan Perkasa Roeslani said the government was tasked by the Danantara to be able to conduct a thorough evaluation of the downstream projects that would be funded by the agency so that state investment could be effective.

Rosan at the Presidential Palace Complex, Jakarta, Monday, March 10, said that this was one of the topics discussed in a limited meeting with Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto and several related ministers.

"Several programs that will be analyzed and evaluated by Danantara (there are) in various fields, be it refinery (tickets) with new technology or several other fields. In essence, we will evaluate independently," said Rosan, who is also the Minister of Investment and Downstreaming. that, quoted by Antara.

Rosan emphasized that downstream projects that will be funded and thoroughly evaluated by Danantara must later be mature.

This means that projects proposed for funding the Antara must have all permits, both related to land, related to environmental impact analysis, as well as permits that need to be taken care of to the relevant ministries.

The aspect of the maturity of the project that has been prepared is important because Danantara will conduct a thorough examination, both in terms of risk factors, aspects of profit, and impacts for creating new jobs for the community from related projects.

"With that (a mature project submitted for review), Danantara can conduct comprehensive evaluations. If the investment committee we have stated that this is worth investment, we hope it will run immediately," said Rosan.

Rosan also said that with the analysis and evaluation from Danantara, it is hoped that later prospective investors from within and outside the country can have more confidence in investing in downstream projects.

It is also hoped that Rosan can maintain the value of the industrialization concept carried out in President Prabowo Subianto's leadership so that industrialization can be carried out responsibly while maintaining the sustainability aspect, including the environment.

"This is also in accordance with the industrialization that we want to achieve so that these projects become sustainable, sustainable, sustainable, and simultaneously keep their emissions better. Because we already have a target for net zero by 2060," explained Rosan closing his statement.
