Meanwhile, in October 2024, the figure fell to 356,383 cases, this is the first step to continue to improve the K3 culture in the work environment," he said.

"K3 is not solely related to efforts to prevent work accidents, but strategic investment to reduce business losses, improve quality of life and strengthen national competitiveness and productivity," said Teguh Setyabudi.

At the same time, a Synergy Agreement Note (NKS) was signed between BPJS Ketenagakerjaan and the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government to support the acceleration of the expansion of BPJS Ketenagakerjaan participation protection in DKI Jakarta Province.

In his statement, Deny Yusyulian, Head of the DKI Jakarta Regional Office, said that this Synergy Agreement Note is a form of support in providing protection to workers, especially those with DKI Jakarta ID cards and have not yet been encouraged to be protected.

"The Synergy Agreement Note is a form of legal product with one of its goals, namely to accelerate the protection of the BPJS Employment benefit program," he explained.

He continued, the application of K3 Culture in the work environment is something that must be carried out and obeyed. According to him, the application of K3 culture will certainly have an impact on increasing productivity in the industrial sector so that domestic industries can compete with existing global conditions and challenges.

"We (BPJS Ketenagakerjaan) continue to provide massive socialization and encourage increased K3 culture in the work environment of all companies," said Deny.

Meanwhile, Teguh hopes that the implementation of the K3 month in Jakarta will not be merely ceremonial, but become a culture by making various efforts to assist the DKI Jakarta Manpower, Transmigration and Energy Agency (Disnakertransgi).
