IKN Authority Calls 52 Hectares Of Strategic Land Ready To Be Used By Investors

The Capital Archipelago Authority (OIKN) said that as many as 40 plots of land covering an area of 52,000 hectares in IKN have been allocated to investors.

Head of OIKN Basuki Hadimuljono said the 40 plots of land were also used for the construction of the State Palace area.

"Until now, 40 plots of land have been allocated to investors and the State Palace, with a land certificate of 52,000 hectares," Basuki explained in an upload on his official Instagram account @basukihadimuljono, quoted Monday, January 6.

In order to maintain the investment ecosystem in IKN, Basuki admits that he is committed to continuing to prioritize legality as a form of investment certainty in the project worth IDR 466 trillion.

One of them is by cooperating with the Ministry of Agrarian Affairs and Spatial Planning/National Land Agency (ATR/BPN) to ensure assets in the management that will be occupied by investors.

Previously, Basuki said that there would be a new groundbreaking at IKN Nusantara.

Basuki said that his party was proposing this to President Prabowo Subianto.

"We are proposing to the President (Prabowo) for five groundbreakings. Together with the Ministry of Public Works (PU), we have proposed the inauguration," Basuki said when met at the Mandiri Tower, Jakarta, Monday, December 9.

Even so, Basuki could not confirm whether the 9th groundbreaking in IKN would be realized or not. The reason is, it depends on Prabowo's decision later.

He said the five groundbreakings included four from domestic private companies.

Meanwhile, for one other investor, his party is working to collaborate with Japanese company Sojitz.
