The Ministry Of MSMEs Has Prepared A Fuel Subsidy Scheme For Pangkalan Ojek

JAKARTA - Minister of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) Maman Abdurrahman ensured that his party would prepare a special scheme for distributing subsidized fuel for motorcycle taxi drivers.

"This is now being done, we are still preparing, looking for a strategy like what the pattern is, that was before," said Maman, Tuesday, December 10.

Maman said that the provision of fuel subsidies for motorcycle taxis at this base follows the provision of subsidized fuel to online motorcycle taxi drivers who fall into the MSME category.

However, Maman was reluctant to divulge the scheme that would be used to provide subsidies for pangkalan motorcycle taxis.

"Not yet, not yet. We will verify it later," said Maman briefly.

Furthermore, Maman added, online transportation operator companies such as Grab, Maxim to Gojek are willing to integrate data on online motorcycle taxi drivers with PT Pertamina (Persero). This is intended so that ojol partners in transportation companies can enjoy subsidized fuel in their daily lives.

He emphasized that before carrying out data integration, all these companies were willing to provide driver data to Pertamina.

"Alhamdulillah, most of the Ojek Online operator companies are willing to later synchronize their data with pertaminan," added Maman.

Maman also said that the voluntary provision of data by this operator company departed from the awareness of companies that did need the role of ojol in the smooth running of their business and the MSME business.
