Become A National Dasbor Operator, Surveyor Indonesia Helps Wilmar Nabati Export Perdana HRPO

JAKARTA - PT Wilmar Nabati Indonesia, a subsidiary of Wilmar International Limited, is the first to export Hydrogenated Palm Oil (HRPO) processed from palm oil supplied from PT Bumi Sawit Kencana (BSK) I & II Estate and PT Karunia Kencana Permai Sejati (KKP) I Estate, Central Kalimantan.

This export is the first shipment through a process approved and facilitated in a series of Indonesian National Dasbor piloting, an initiative from the Government of Indonesia through the Coordinating Ministry for Economic Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia together with the Ministry of Agriculture and operated by PT Surveyor Indonesia.

The National Dasbor is the answer from Indonesia as a large palm oil producing country to validate the supply chain, legality, and negligence of export commodities originating from Indonesia. The sending of PT Wilmar Nabati Indonesia has complied with the Indonesian Government regulations through the National Dasbor and legality and calibration requirements from the European Union Deforestation Regulation (EUDR) when going through the National Dasbor.

The National Dasbor, which was first conceptualized by Airlangga Hartarto, the Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia, and operated by PT Surveyor Indonesia under the coordination of the National Dasbor Secretariat of the Ministry of Agriculture, is a multi-party effort aimed at managing EUDR requirements communication between Indonesia and the competent authorities in the European Union, and other global market requirements, such as the UK Due Diligence, US Forest Act, Green China, and especially for improving national plantation data governance. The National Dasbor will be regulated through the Presidential Regulation of the Republic of Indonesia.

"The export carried out by Wilmar under the National Dasbor scheme is a good example in the implementation of the National Dasbor for exports to Europe because Wilmar communicated with the government to obtain a statement of legality from the government called National Dashboard Notes which will be an additional document on export requirements to the European Union, where the government will participate in overseeing and guaranteeing products from Indonesia so that it can be accepted by the European Union as part of the implementation of EUDR for national palm oil products," said Dr Prayudi Samsuri, Director of Marketing and Processing of Plantation Products, Directorate General of Plantation, Ministry of Agriculture.

Regarding the role of PT Surveyor Indonesia, President Director of PT Surveyor Indonesia, Sandry Pasambuna, said that the appointment of his party as the operator of the National Dashboard is a big responsibility that must be answered with competence and experience.

"So that this mandate can be carried out with careful preparation and high integrity," said Sandry, in a written statement, Tuesday, October 8.

"As technical operators, we are grateful for the trust given to us, and we will ensure transparency and compliance with international regulations, so that Indonesia's leading commodities can compete better in the global market," he added.

The appointment of PT Surveyor Indonesia as the operator of the National Dashboard is based on Government Regulation no. 52 of 2023, amendments to Government Regulation no. 26 of 2021, and Law no. 59/2004 concerning the National Long-Term Development Plan 2025-2045.
