DPR Approves Ministry Of Finance's Budget To Reach IDR 53.19 Trillion In 2025

Commission XI of the House of Representatives (DPR) approved the Ministry of Finance's indicative ceiling (Kemenkeu) budget for the 2025 fiscal year worth IDR 53.19 trillion.

"Thus, we agree with the finance ministry budget earlier (IDR 53.19 trillion)," said Chairman of Commission XI of the House of Representatives Kahar Muzakir followed by a hammer beating at the Ministry of Finance's working meeting with Commission XI of the Indonesian House of Representatives, Monday, September 9.

Previously, Minister of Finance Sri Mulyani Indrawati said that out of a total of IDR 53.19 trillion, the budget for the Public Service Agency (BLU) was IDR 10.37 trillion and specifically for the Ministry of Finance was IDR 42.81 trillion.

"We proposed Rp53.19 trillion. This includes BLU of Rp10.37 trillion, so actually for the Ministry of Finance alone it is Rp42.81 trillion," he explained.

Sri Mulyani explained that the total budget for BLU of Rp. 10.37 billion was the most allocated, namely for the Education Fund Management Institution (LPDP) of Rp. 3.93 trillion and the Palm Oil Plantation Fund Management Agency (BPDPKS) of Rp. 6.06 trillion.

"LPDP is the operation of the use of endowment funds to finance research training education from various ministries of program institutions. BPDPKS is IDR 6.06 trillion, especially for the oil palm rejuvenation program and the enhanced biodesicles," he said.

Furthermore, the Environmental Fund Management Agency (BPDLH) amounted to IDR 69.60 billion, the International Development Cooperation Fund Institute (LDKPI) amounted to IDR 43.01 billion, the State Financial Polytechnic of State High School Accounting (PKN STAN) amounted to IDR 15.02 billion.

"The State Asset Management Institute (LMAN) is IDR 163.47 billion for its operations, while the budget for asset acquisition is not included here but is included in the APBN. For the Smart Indonesia Program (PIP) it is Rp95.64 billion," he said.

Sri Mulyani conveyed that the budget for the Ministry of Finance was IDR 42.81 trillion for 4 programs and one management support was divided into 5 program categories.

As for the fiscal policy program amounting to Rp59.19 billion and the management of state revenues worth Rp2.38 trillion. For state expenditures of Rp45.45 billion, treasury management, state assets, and risks of Rp238.13 billion, and finally management support of Rp40.08 trillion.
