JAKARTA - PT Bank Mandiri (Persero) Tbk (BMRI) noted that the distribution of People's Business Credit (KUR) until July 2024 reached IDR 23.49 trillion to more than 151,000 debtors throughout Indonesia.

Bank Mandiri Corporate Secretary Teuku Ali Usman said the distribution of KUR was equivalent to 62.7 percent of Bank Mandiri's 2024 KUR target.

Ali detailed that the Agricultural sector is the production sector with the highest distribution throughout 2024, namely Rp6.87 trillion or 29.24 percent of Bank Mandiri's total KUR. Then followed by the Production Services sector with Rp5.03 trillion or around 21.44 percent of the total distribution of Bank Mandiri KUR in 2024.

Bank Mandiri continued Ali, it also strengthens the focus on the leading production sector in various regions, supported by business synergies and strategic collaboration with wholesale customers.

"This KUR distribution is part of an ecosystem-based acquisition strategy with a closed loop pattern that we optimize through the wholesale Bank Mandiri customer value chain," Ali added.

In addition, Bank Mandiri presents Livin' Merchant as part of efforts to digitize financial transactions. This application presents a variety of conveniences ranging from flexibility in payment receipts, free subscription fees, as well as facilitating transactions through QRIS that can be discranked by buyers with any bank or e-wallet accounts.

"Livin' Merchant functions as a digital cashier application that digitizes transactions, provides easy access to banking services (access to finance and encourages MSMEs to advance to class," said Ali.

Bank Mandiri also expands access to financing through referral programs and financial transaction education through Mandiri Agent (Agen Laku Pandai Mitra Bank Mandiri) which operates in the MSME business ecosystem.
