JAKARTA - PT Bank Negara Indonesia (Persero) Tbk or BNI and VinFast, electric vehicle manufacturers from Vietnam, signed a memorandum of understanding to explore cooperation in promoting green mobility solutions in Indonesia and facilitating investment and financial cooperation.
The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed on the sidelines of the Vietnam-Indonesia high-level business dialogue with the theme "Vietnam-Indonesia: Partnership for Progress and Prosperity" at Raffles Hotel Jakarta, Monday, March 10.
BNI Director of Wholesale and International Banking Agung Prabowo said BNI is strongly committed to encouraging green initiatives, environmentally friendly solutions, and social responsibility in supporting sustainable development.
"We believe this collaboration will not only open up strategic business opportunities but also strengthen long-term partnerships between Indonesia and Vietnam, and contribute to economic and social prosperity," Agung said in a press release, Tuesday, March 11.
Through this MoU, he said, BNI will provide support for consultation, experience and local insight, and facilitate access to banking transactional service products for VinFast and other companies in the Vingroup ecosystem.
