Jokowi Groundbreaking BCA Office At IKN: Meaning Investment Benefits

JAKARTA - President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) laid the first stone or groundbreaking for the office of PT Bank Central Asia Tbk or BCA in the capital city of Nusantara (IKN), East Kalimantan.

Jokowi said that the investment process carried out by the issuer coded BBCA is a sign that IKN is a profitable investment destination for investors.

"We appreciate the investment made by PT Bank Central Asia Tbk. If BCA has dared to enter an area, BCA dares to invest in the archipelago, meaning that investment in IKN Nusantara is very profitable," said Jokowi during the groundbreaking of the BCA office, quoted from the Presidential Secretariat YouTube, Monday, August 12.

Furthermore, Jokowi said, BCA is a bank with high risk management.

Therefore, he said, the company must have calculated before investing in IKN.

"Because usually BCA calculations and calculations, the calculator is not double anymore, but 10 calculators are used and then dare to invest. Because BCA is a guarantee, it is impossible for BCA to dare to invest if no profits will be obtained, I appreciate Mr. Jahja (Managing Director of BCA) this investment," he said.

Jokowi also said that the government would soon complete the construction of IKN supporting infrastructure.

The goal is that the operations of BCA and similar banks can run well.
