A Total Of 7 Towers Of The Coordinating Ministry's Office Are Ready To Accommodate The Guests Of The Indonesian Independence Day Ceremony At IKN

JAKARTA - The Ministry of Public Works and Public Housing (PUPR) is preparing residential infrastructure for invited guests and officers of the 79th Anniversary of the Republic of Indonesia in the capital city of Nusantara (IKN).

PUPR Minister Basuki Hadimuljono said a number of infrastructures were prepared to be occupied by invited guests and ceremony officers, ranging from the Coordinating Ministry (Kemenko) Office Building to the State Civil Apparatus residential tower (ASN).

For the Coordinating Ministry Office Building, there are a total of four complexes and each complex consists of four towers. Basuki said, overall construction progress has reached 80 percent. Of the total 16 towers, 7 towers will be ready to be used to accommodate ASN and ceremonial officers.

"For August 17th, the Coordinating Ministry for 1 has one tower functioned, the Coordinating Ministry for 2 has one tower, the Coordinating Ministry for 3 has two towers, the Coordinating Ministry for 4 has three towers. So, a total of 7 towers will function around the ceremonial field on the national axis," Basuki said at the Independence Month Press Conference in Jakarta which was monitored online on Thursday, August 1.

Basuki also guaranteed that the buildings had been prepared with electricity, water, and additional toilets. Thus, it is ready for ceremony participants and ASN to be occupied during the 79th Indonesian Independence Day.

As for the ASN residential tower, Basuki said, later there will be 8 towers that will be 100 percent completed. His party targets that until August 17, 14 towers will be ready along with supporting furniture.

"On August 17, 14 towers, furnified, water, electricity were ready. One tower consists of 60 units, 98 square meters each with three rooms. So, we can calculate the participants later," he said.

Furthermore, there is the Ministerial Tax House (RTJM). Of the total 36 houses, 14 housing units will be used to accommodate ceremonial guests. The house is equipped with furniture

"All of this will be regulated by the Ministry of State Secretariat (Kemensetneg) for guests and ceremony participants. So, ASN housing, ministerial houses, all are directly regulated by the State Secretariat for the use of August 17," he said.
