PT PII Gives Project Guarantee With Investment Of IDR 534 Trillion

JAKARTA - PT Penjaminan Infrastruktur Indonesia (PII) as of June 2024 has provided guarantees for a number of infrastructure and non-infrastructure projects in the country which have a total investment value of IDR 534 trillion.

"We have a total of 53 projects, one of which is for the project in SPAM Semarang Barat, and the total guarantee value is IDR 99 trillion," said Deputy Director III of PT PII Muhammad Ridho quoting Antara.

He explained that the total investment value of IDR 534 trillion consisted of IDR 471 trillion for the investment value of infrastructure projects and IDR 63 trillion for the investment value of non-infrastructure projects.

The total number of 53 projects provided by PT PII includes 45 infrastructure projects and eight non-infrastructure projects.

The project guarantee includes a number of sectors, namely electricity, drinking water, transportation, roads, telecommunications, and energy conservation.

Meanwhile, the total guarantee value carried out by PT PII is IDR 99 trillion, consisting of the guarantee value of infrastructure projects of IDR 91 trillion and non-infrastructure of IDR 8 trillion.

Meanwhile, specifically in Central Java, PT PII provides infrastructure guarantees to PLTU Batang with a value of IDR 70 trillion, the Batang-Semarang Toll Road IDR 14 trillion, the West Semarang Drinking Water Supply System (SPAM) IDR 0.4 trillion, the Semarang-Demak Toll Road IDR 5.4 trillion, and the Jogja Bawen Toll Road IDR 14.3 trillion.

In addition to infrastructure and non-infrastructure projects, PT PII also provides guarantees for corporations with a guarantee value of IDR 2.3 trillion in the context of national economic recovery.

PT Penjaminan Infrastruktur Indonesia is a state-owned institution under the auspices of the Ministry of Finance, which was created to support the acceleration of infrastructure provision in Indonesia through the Public Private Partnership scheme.

One of PII's supports for infrastructure development in Indonesia is as a continuous fiscal support provider for Public Private Partnership infrastructure projects through providing guarantees for contractual risks related to government actions.
