West Java Governor Dedi Mulyadi assessed that there must be firm action related to the letter signed by the village head of Klapanuggal, Klapanunggal District, Bogor Regency asking for holiday allowances (THR) to the company worth Rp. 165 million.

"Yes, it's the same as being treated like thugs in Bekasi, the police are acting. Thugs of Bekasi are being prosecuted, right? Isn't it the village head's arrest? You don't know, you already know there are instructions, right? He did an act asking to be ratified. It's against the law, so it's not enough just coaching, there must be firm action," said Dedi, quoted by ANTARA, Monday, March 31.

He assessed that the actions taken by the Head of the Klapanunggal Village which ended up circulating on social media were not enough to be completed just by apologizing. However, decisive action must be taken so that other things like that are not followed and do not consider choosing in taking action.

He said the village head's actions violated the governor's instructions so that this could not be forgiven.

"From the authority side of the authority, the village head's decree is from the regent, the regent must have responsibility for the guidance of the village head, that is from the aspect of the authority. But from the aspect of the village head, ignoring the governor's instructions, it is a mistake that cannot be forgiven," he said. ,

A letter with the head of the Klapanunggal Village Government, Klapanunggal District, Bogor Regency has gone viral on social media. The reason, in the letter, the Head of Klapanunggal Village, Ade Endang Saripudin, allegedly asked THR along with other bengek tetek with a total of Rp165 million to companies in his area.

In a letter dated March 12, 2025, Ade admitted that he submitted a THR application to the company leadership in connection with the commemoration of Eid al-Fitr 1446 Hijriah. He said the donation was non-binding.

"We hope that the company's father/mother can participate in helping us in providing allowances to regional apparatus and apparatus in Klapanunggal Village," wrote Ade.

On a separate sheet, there was an invitation for a halalbihalal event at the Klapanunggal Village Office, Friday (21/3). Ade acted as the head of the event.

Then, there are details of the halalbihalal budget plan. There are eight items, namely parcels worth Rp. 30 million, pocket money or THR Rp. 100 million, sarongs Rp. 20 million, consumption of Rp. 5 million, lecturers Rp. 1.5 million, readers of the holy Quran verse Rp. 1.5 million, renting a system of Rp. 2 million, and unexpected costs of Rp. 5 million. The total is Rp. 165 million.

Through the official account of the Bogor Regency Government, Ade recently apologized for this act. Instead of just an appeal, he asked entrepreneurs to ignore the letters that had already been circulating. He promised to withdraw the letter.

"I admit that I was wrong and apologize to those who felt uncomfortable," said Ade in a video shared on Saturday (29/3).
