Government And Palm Oil Business Actors Cooperate To Improve Productivity

JAKARTA - Deputy Minister (Wamen) of ATR/Deputy Head (Waka) of BPN Raja Juli Antoni conveyed that the cooperation between the government and palm oil business actors can increase productivity and community welfare.

"With good cooperation, we hope that there will be legal certainty that will guarantee increasing productivity. Meanwhile, the government also has more income with the aim of our welfare," said Raja Juli Antoni quoting Antara.

The cooperation between the government and business actors of palm oil commodities is expected to increase productivity and community welfare.

Raja Juli Antoni admitted that problems related to palm oil productivity were also faced by various sectors.

However, he is optimistic that the joint commitment of the government and business actors can find joint solutions.

"It's not easy. With our commitment together, it is hoped that we can explain one by one. I ask that we can try to solve it as well as possible," he said.

According to him, this appeal for cooperation is in line with the commitment of the Ministry of ATR/BPN in making improvements to land administration and spatial planning.

Regarding the existence of oil palm head plantations that do not yet have Business Use Rights (HGU) data, the Ministry of ATR/BPN is trying to resolve them with a faster pattern of completing regular HGUs that take a lot of time, for example, the measurement process will be faster.

For information, the Minister of Agrarian Affairs and Spatial Planning/Head of the National Land Agency (ATR/BPN) Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono or AHY stated that they are ready to support the development of the oil palm plantation industry related to land.
